Hexagon Geosystems acquires Geodata Diffusion SAS

Hexagon Geosystems, a division of Hexagon AB, leading global provider of design, measurement and visualisation technologies, announces the acquisition of the French company Geodata Diffusion SAS, making the company a wholly owned subsidiary of Hexagon.

Headquartered in Arpajon, near Paris (France), Geodata Diffusion is a leading provider of network RTK correction services to the surveying and agriculture segments through its Orphéon network of GNSS permanent stations. The Orphéon network covers the whole of France and its overseas territories. Geodata Diffusion serves a large customer base through its distribution network. It will retain a level of autonomy within the Hexagon group.

"Geodata Diffusion brings expertise in providing GNSS positioning services to its wide customer base. Together with the recent acquisition of Veripos through Hexagon, it will be an instrumental part in our ambitions in this field", said Juergen Dold, President of Hexagon Geosystems Division.
