On May 12th, 2017 Unifly opened its first office in the US. Supported by the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce, the Belgian software company’s base for American operations will be in New York. CEO Marc Kegelaers: “The US is a fast-growing market that holds a strong interest for Unifly. More specifically we are a partner in the NUAIR alliance, the New York based coalition of over 100 companies who collaborate in UAS test ranges along the East Coast.” The number of drones in the sky is growing exponentially. Safely integrating such a large number of drones is a challenge. This requires a UTM system that can automate the processes to seamlessly integrate drones into the world of manned aviation. Unifly offers a UAS Traffic Management (UTM) platform to integrate drones into the airspace safely and efficiently. The Unifly UTM platform supports all stakeholders: drone operators, local authorities, aviation authorities and solution providers. www.unifly.aero
