Silicon Sensing’s New DMU30 Finds North

By [email protected] - 25th June 2015 - 11:41

DMU30 is a ground-breaking, non-ITAR, MEMS IMU which is the first of a family of high performance IMUS from Silicon Sensing Systems. Due for release later this year it will provide an alternative to the more costly âFOG-gradeâ technologies for use in more exacting motion sensing applications, ranging from unmanned vehicle navigation to surveying and mapping solutions. Development has reached an advanced stage with B-Model units now being integrated and submitted to rigorous calibration and test routines at Silicon Sensingâs prestige IMU laboratory and test facilities. Full specification details are now available and beta customer trials are scheduled to begin shortly. Further programmed development of the HPIMU family will see the integration of additional positioning sensors, including magnetometers and barometers, creating a prestigious family of affordable IMUs where no compromise in performance is required. Silicon Sensing will be demonstrating this North Finding capability on the UK Pavilion in Hall 4 of the Intergeo, Stuttgart from 15th - 17th September. www.siliconsensing.com
