Topcon Positioning Group has released the next generation laser transmitter for use with its Millimeter GPS precise positioning system - the LZ-T5. Millimeter GPS is an exclusive Topcon technology that allows traditional GPS measurement and machine control systems to improve its vertical accuracy by up to 400 percent. The LZ-T5 uses zone-beam laser technology to continuously provide high accuracy elevation information to improve GNSS positioning. The new design and operational technology enhances its performance in fluctuating temperatures and adverse weather conditions. Additionally the housing is now more user-friendly with twin ergonomic handles to allow for easier carrying and mounting, and battery-life has been extended to last up to 20-percent longer.
