GISTAM 2015 - The 1st International Conference on Geographical Information Systems Theory, Applications and Management took place in Barcelona, Spain from, April 28 to 30. GISTAM 2015 was held in conjunction with ICEIS 2015 and ENASE 2015, covering a broad range of Geographical Information related fields. All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library and a short list of papers will be invited to submit to publication in a special issue of Springer in a CCIS Series book (Communications in Computer and Information Science). In addition to the presentation sessions, four outstanding keynote lectures were included, which are relevant to todayâs lines of research and technical innovation. These talks were presented by: Robert Laurini, INSA, University of Lyon, José Bioucas Dias, Telecommunications Institute, Portugal, Jordi Corbera, Geological and Cartographic Institute of Catalonia, Ed Parsons, Google UK Ltd. GISTAM 2016 will be held in Rome on 28th & 29th April 2016. www.gistam.org
