KLM Equipment Services (KES) has teamed up with Ctrack to develop and implement an advanced telematics and employee identification solution at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. As a result, the company will now be able to monitor who and when employees are using its fleet of specialist vehicles and equipment including de-icers, power units, baggage towing vehicles, loaders, mobile staircases, catering trucks, belt loaders. KES made the decision based on Ctrack’s ability to create a user-friendly solution that combined the latest technology, cost efficiency and high levels of service delivery. Hilger van Dam, Managing Director of Ctrack Benelux commented: “Our identification software and telematics expertise is enabling companies per user group without losing the visibility of assets. This has the potential to save many hours of administrative work, while providing the basis for making fleet operations more flexible.”
