Gexcel and ClearEdge3D have jointly announced a software marketing and sales partnership that will offer a complete automated registration and modeling solution for the BIM and industrial plant industries. The agreement combines Gexcelâs innovative, target-free scan registration software called LineUp Pro with ClearEdge3Dâs automated as-built modeling software EdgeWise 5.0 to offer the fastest field-to-finish workflow for capturing data without targets. LineUp Pro registers individual laser scans in a fully automatic fashion without the need for survey targets, saving time and creating a more accurate point cloud. EdgeWise uses highly advanced algorithms to automatically extract and model objects from point cloud data. The software is widely regarded as the fastest and most accurate way to create as-built BIMs and facility models.
