Alistair Maclenan is new Chair of UKGeoForum

Alistair Maclenan, founder of the specialist geo-focused marketing agency, Quarry One Eleven was recently selected to be the new Chairman of the UKGeoForum. Taking over from Eric Zeevan of Canary Wharf Group plc, Alistair will Chair this unique umbrella organisation which is comprised of societies and associations that represent hundreds of thousands of professionals, academics and students of geography, mapping and geospatial information. The recent meeting of the UKGeoForum was held at the central London offices of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and was followed by the Annual UKGeoForum Lecture which this year was delivered by the new Chief Executive of the Ordnance Survey; Nigel Clifford.
