21AT Asia Announces Winning the Major Contract from the Government of Queensland, Australia through its Partner – Earth-i

Twenty First Century Aerospace Technology (Asia) Pte. Ltd. (21AT Asia) in Singapore is the operator of DMC3/TripleSat Constellation. Its partner – Earth-i has been awarded the contract to supply the government of the state of Queensland, Australia with very high-resolution optical imagery of the entire state. The contract covers the supply of imagery from the DMC3/TripleSat Constellation for each of the years 2016 and 2017 and will ensure that Queensland’s Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM) has a detailed base map of the entire state, updated each year for its own use and for a range of applications by other government departments.

This contract recognised the unique value of this new source of very high-resolution satellites data from the TripleSat Constellation. With wide swath of 24km, and three identical satellites in a phased constellation, means this solution is well suited for the annual update of a large area, high resolution base map such as that required by Queensland. Wide area, high resolution data ensures governments remain well informed on the current status of the land resources and land use supporting intelligent decisions in the administration of the state.

21AT Asia is committed to deliver high-quality data and services to Queensland’s DNRM through Earth-i and making this new capability available to local and national governments worldwide for similar applications.
