By [email protected] - 1st May 2019 - 11:52

Maxar Technologies collected new high-resolution satellite imagery this morning (April 30th) of Caracas, Venezuela and the Generalisimo Francisco de Miranda Airbase (a.k.a., La Carlota military base).

The satellite imagery was collected at 10:52 AM, local time. Hundreds of protesters can be seen along the perimeter of the airbase, on the highway interchange and gathering at the nearby Plaza Altamira. A number of security vehicles can be observed on the northern end of the airbase and positioned along the highways.

Maxar will continue to closely monitor the events in Caracas, and will share any new collections as they become available.
