Today’s guest is Joe Feyder, LiDAR Operations Manager of REY Engineers who started using the RIEGL VMX in 2010. Joe has been using the VMX for departments of transportation and other roadway work.

At REY, Joe oversees the mobilization, application and delivery of the firm’s mobile and terrestrial LiDAR technology. Joe has 40+ years of comprehensive experience in all aspects of professional land surveying and is an expert at providing pragmatic and resourceful survey approaches to complex projects.

To complement his technical background, Joe also serves as senior project manager, focusing on public works and infrastructure projects including California’s high-speed rail, several design-build transportation projects, and multiple on-call survey service contracts throughout California. He is also licensed in multiple western states.
