Puget Systems and Pix4D Enter into Strategic Collaborative Partnership; Pix4D Names Puget Systems Official Certified Hardware Provider

Puget Systems and Pix4D announced they have entered into a strategic collaborative partnership in which the two companies agree to benchmark Pix4D software on Puget Systems hardware, publish joint technical insights, and promote optimized hardware recommendations for Pix4D users. Additionally, as a result of this partnership, Pix4D has named Puget Systems an Official Certified Hardware Provider for all Pix4D customers.

The partnership between Puget Systems and Pix4D was primarily formed to ensure customers are well prepared with the kind of performance and validation data they need when making business-critical purchasing decisions. The partnership focuses on Software Testing, Hardware Optimization, and Technical Collaboration, as well as on collaborative distribution of key findings and educating customers on technical issues for the industry.

To ensure the success of this partnership, the development and labs teams from both companies will work closely together on specialized benchmarks optimized for PIX4Dmatic. Pix4D will provide Puget Systems with early access to new software versions, required licenses, and suitable datasets for performance testing. Puget Systems, in turn, will test PIX4Dmatic across diverse CPU/GPU configurations, publish results through performance articles and newsletters, and update its recommended systems based on those findings.

This collaborative process is designed to ensure that Puget Systems’ benchmarks not only accurately reflect the common workflows with PIX4Dmatic but also that the results are as up-to-date as possible.
