New virtual experience for the critical communications industry opens for registration

By Eric Van Rees - 11th September 2020 - 05:22

TCCA has launched registration for Critical Communications Week, the new free-to-attend event aimed at bringing the global sector together to network and share learning within the virtual space.

Taking place from 2-6 November this year, CCWeek will consist of a world-class conference programme, alongside an innovative online exhibition, through which leading critical communications manufacturers will be able to showcase the latest technology.

The conference will feature many of the industry’s leading experts, focusing on key topics including the continuing evolution of TETRA, current critical communications broadband roll-outs, and the ongoing development of 5G for use in the mission/business critical environment. Presenters will also look at developments in a range of related technologies and topics, such as AI, drones/automated vehicles, standardisation and legislation.

The CCWeek conference programme will cater to a truly international audience, with a range of sessions and panel discussions focused on Europe, Asia and North America. Attendees will be able to join in discussions via real-time conference session chats, Q&As and polls.

CCWeek’s virtual event platform will enable attendees to connect and network with speakers, suppliers and fellow attendees across all five days of the show. Exhibitors will include some of the biggest and most influential companies in the field.

Discussing the Association’s expectations for CCWeek, TCCA Chief Executive Tony Gray said: “The critical communications sector thrives on networking and interaction. With the absence of physical exhibitions, Critical Communications Week will give visitors from across the globe the chance to come together and catch up on best practice, as well as viewing the latest technology. We very much hope that this online event will attract not only those who would normally travel, but also those who do not usually have the opportunity to actively participate in key industry events.
