Luciad Set to Disrupt at 2016 Geospatial World Forum

LEUVEN, Belgium – Luciad is set to bring innovation and disruption to the 2016 Geospatial World Forum.

“Where’s the Money: Disruptive Business Models” is the theme of this year’s event that takes place in Rotterdam May 23-26.

“The Geospatial World Forum is a great event for us to see the latest developments in geospatial technology, make new connections and also showcase our innovation in 3D browser technology and powerful visual analytics,” said Luciad Chief Technology Officer Frank Suykens.

In addition to exhibiting at the Geospatial World Forum (stand 33), Luciad executives will speak on a number of topics.

  • Luciad CEO Marc Melviez will present “The Death of the ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) Paradigm” at the European Geospatial Business Summit session on System Integration and Solution Oriented Business Modules on May 25 from 9-11 a.m.
  • Luciad CTO Frank Suykens will present during the Spatial Analytics: Cloud, Big Data & Machine Learning session with his presentation “Accelerating Insight through Geospatial Visual Analytics” on May 25 from 1-3 p.m.
  • Luciad VP of Business Development Glyn Arthur will present “Using Predictive Analytics for Emergency Response” during the Public Safety & Emergency Response session on May 25 from 1-3 p.m.

Luciad technology will also be featured during the Oracle workshop CityGML in Practice - Using 3DCityDB on Oracle for City Modelling on Thursday, May 26 at 11:30 a.m.
