Kent based surveyors GPM2 Design have chosen COPTRZ, the commercial drone experts, to provide equipment and training that will enable them to provide aerial surveying and inspection services to their clients.

It is envisaged that the investment in drone technology will help deliver greater speed, efficiency and safety in their operations.

Having won several new contracts including local NHS building inspections, GPM2 were have invested in the latest state-of-art UAV technology that will enable them to produce high-spec 3D point clouds from photographs captured during a drone flight.

After an initial consultation and needs analysis, GPM2 were supplied with a complete surveying-specific package including the recently released DJI Matrice 200 industrial drone, DJI X5S camera and CAA drone training for two members of staff.

Mark Brown, UAV Strategist at COPTRZ explains "We are proud to be working with GPM2 and enabling them to get maximum benefit from their drone strategy. This is why COPTRZ exists. Industrial grade drones have improved drastically in recent months, and as a result we are seeing more surveying businesses invest in drones that can help them provide services safer, faster and cheaper. I am delighted that with the release of the DJI Matrice 200 we now have a drone that is perfectly suited to the construction industry.”
