GeoMax demonstrates its unrivalled GNSS portfolio at Intergeo (hall3, stand F3.043)

By Eric Van Rees - 16th September 2019 - 06:01

GeoMax, a manufacturer of integrated instruments for surveying and mapping, will present the stars of its portfolio at Intergeo in Stuttgart this month.

In the spotlight will be the Zenith40, GeoMax’s flagship GNSS receiver. Equipped with NovAtel`s latest, cutting-edge measurement engine and supporting fast converging Precise Point Positioning (PPP), this antenna provides a highest level of technology and meets the toughest MIL standards.

Designed for X-PAD Ultimate field software as well as other field controller software, Zenith40 assures a workflow that is tailored to the exact needs of the operator. “The combination of the latest measurement technology and software compatibility in a GNSS smart-antenna creates a solution that is second to none,” said David Price, director of Survey Max Ltd., GeoMax strategic partner for UK and Ireland.

Zenith40 complies to IP68 and US MIL standards. It has an operating temperature from -40°C up to +65°C, is fully dust-tight and withstands powerful water jets as well as temporary immersion under water.

Other features include the ability to receive multi-frequency signals from all existing satellite systems worldwide, and enhanced GeoMax Q-Lock Pro RTK, making it easier to work under tree cover and reducing the time-to-fix. Precise Point Positioning (PPP) provides C-Pro correction data at centimetre level quality anywhere in the world and significantly enhances productivity by eliminating the need for a RTK network connection or reference from a local data base station.

The Zenith40 provides greatest flexibility. It works with GeoMax X-PAD Ultimate running on a choice of rugged Android field controller or the operator’s preferred software on their own devices. Zenith40 can either be fully configured within the field software or with the Zenith Manager, a stand-alone application available for Windows and Android operating systems. This enables operators to configure the antenna without using the field controller.

The innovative and unique QR-iConnect functionality speeds up the connection process. Simply scan and go!

In addition to the Zenith40, visitors to the GeoMax stand will be able to talk to the company’s technical experts and see demonstrations of GeoMax robotic TPS instruments, X-Pad Ultimate software and the Zenius800, the versatile, rugged and fully equipped Android-based tablet powered by a Qualcomm Octa-Core 2.2 GHz Processor.
