DMT Group selects STRYDE for high-density 3D oil and gas seismic survey in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI)

STRYDE, a provider of high-definition onshore subsurface imaging solutions announced that DMT Group, a global engineering and consultancy firm, has selected STRYDE’s Nimble Seismic System to acquire high-density seismic data for an onshore 3D oil and gas exploration project in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).

This collaboration represents a significant step in supporting Kurdistan’s drive toward energy security and independence, enabling the acquisition of detailed, high-resolution subsurface data in some of the region’s most complex and challenging terrain.

“We’re excited to see our technology supporting another ambitious and strategically important exploration campaign in the Middle East,” said Mehdi Tascher, Sales Director at STRYDE.

“Achieving the resolution required for accurate subsurface imaging and confident exploration decisions relies on data density captured through nodes deployed in a dense receiver grid. Enabling this level of unrivalled  seismic detail for DMT is exactly why STRYDE was created,” added Mehdi.

Historically, high-density seismic acquisition has been restricted by logistical complexity, cost, and terrain limitations. STRYDE’s ultra-lightweight nodes and portable Nimble System overcomes these barriers.
