Cyient acquires Blom Aerofilms

The acquisition was completed on 30th November, 2016 with a signed agreement of sale from Blom Aerofilms parent company, NRC Group.

Blom Aerofilms has a long and well established reputation for providing high quality data acquisition. Cyient believes that gaining these skills strengthens their position in the market and is key to growing Cyient's Geospatial and data capabilities. Blom Aerofilms are confident that the acquisition by Cyient will enable the business to grow into new market sectors over wider geographic areas.

As a key contact of Blom Aerofilms within the UK, we would like to share a little more background with you around this acquisition and our timeline for integration over the next few months.

During December Blom Aerofilms will continue to trade without any change to ensure no disruption to existing customers, partners and suppliers. From 1st January 2017, Blom Aerofilms will officially be rebranded as a Cyient company and will be managed as a subsidiary of Cyient Europe Ltd. During the three month period from the start of January to 31st March 2017, Blom Aerofilms will undergo a period of transition to complete any rebranding and alignment into a Cyient company and to ensure that all changes are communicated and agreed with existing customers and partners. The aim during this period will be to fully integrate the Blom Aerofilms team into Cyient Europe in time for the start of our new financial year.
