Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands - 30 June 2016 - AND announced today that it will make changes to its Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board of AND will expand from two to three members. Further, the Supervisory Board shall nominate Barry Glick for appointment as a new member of the Supervisory Board

Barry J. Glick has more than 30 years experience in the mapping, location technology and navigation industry. In 1994, he was the founding CEO of GeoSystems Global Corporation and led the company to its initial venture capital funding and the development of its breakthrough MapQuest.com consumer website, as well as its B2B successes with Fortune 500 companies. As a result of the company's early success in Internet mapping, GeoSystems went public in 1999 and was acquired by AOL/Time Warner in 2000. Glick later became Chairman and CEO of Webraska Mobile Technologies, Inc. headquartered in France, and a pioneer in off-board navigation and location-based services. Webraska was later sold to Sanef, part of the Abertis Group, the number one transport and telecom infrastructure management operator in Europe.

Glick then served as Vice President of Internet, Mobile and Media Products for NAVTEQ, a global provider of maps, traffic and location data enabling navigation, location-based services and mobile advertising. NAVTEQ was acquired by Nokia in 2008.
As CEO of ALK Barry was responsible for the sale of ALK to Trimble in 2013.
Currently Glick serves as President of PTV America, Inc. and as a Partner or Board Member at GeoCodex, LLC; Location, Inc.; Carillon Ventures, LLC; and Spatial Justice Resources, Inc.

Barry holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master's degree from Cornell University.

Rob Westerhof, chairman of the AND Supervisory Board: "I am delighted with the announcement of the nomination made by the Supervisory Board. Barry brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the mapping, navigation and location industry. I am certain that he will be of great benefit to the functioning of the Supervisory Board."

Provided that the proposed nomination will be adopted by the Extraordinary General Meeting, expected to take place in October 2016, the Supervisory Board will consist of Robert Westerhof (Chairman), Maarten Douma and Barry Glick (as of the date of Extraordinary General Meeting).
