Yotta targets Latin American and North African market with Implemental Systems deal ~ Signals new phase in international expansion by signing reseller agreement with Madrid-based IT solutions provider

Leamington Spa, UK, 15 August 2017 – Highlighting the momentum behind its international growth, technology company, Yotta has signed a partnership agreement with Implemental Systems, a leading software solutions business, headquartered in Spain, with a strong presence across the Latin American region and North Africa.

As part of the reseller partner agreement, Implemental Systems will incorporate Yotta’s visualised asset management software solution, Horizons within a broader infrastructure solutions package built for relevant government organisations, road concessions schemes and road owners.

With the contract now signed, the partners are actively focused on selling solutions into existing customers and on winning new business. Implemental Systems will carry out all of the on-site consulting with the customer, most of the implementation work and all of the project management as well as providing local first-line support. Yotta will, in turn, supply the Horizons software; technical expertise and back-up support to Implemental, as well as providing extensive product training to the Implemental team.

Simon Topp, director of marketing and international business at Yotta, commented: “We see huge potential in the Latin American and North African market. It is a large market with a growing population but much of its highways infrastructure needs extensive modernisation. So there is growing demand for investment in roads and asset management development.

“However, it is also a challenging and complex environment,” he continues. “Road concession schemes and toll roads form an important part of the market. The business culture and operational landscape is very different from the UK and it’s difficult to navigate without experience, language skills, or local expertise. Implemental has a significant presence in the Latin American and North of Africa region and in-depth local expertise built up from more than 20 years of working there. That’s why we believe working with them will be invaluable to us.

“Critically too,” continues Topp, “they have an excellent understanding of IT software solutions and are well structured to support them, with extensive pre-sales, sales, post-sales and implementation support capabilities in place on the ground that we believe will be key in supporting us and our customers throughout Latin America and North Africa.”

Jorge Rubín, CEO, Implemental Systems, says: “Our partnership with Yotta is an excellent fit for both parties and will bring extensive benefits to end customer organisations. As a leader in the provision of IT systems to government organisations, we are focussed on adding high-value, differentiated software solutions to our portfolio.

“We believe Yotta’s Horizons will add significantly to our capabilities and the range of our offering to the Latin American and North of Africa marketplace and open up new conversations for us in existing and new customer organisations,” she adds.

Yotta’s Topp concludes: “Implemental has a dynamic sales operation and are currently winning new business at a rapid rate. Having Horizons on offer as part of their portfolio will allow to accelerate this growth still further. Over time, it should also enable both parties to grow their operational presence in the region and even look to expand the partnership into new geographies. We are very excited by the potential of this partnership and we are confident it has a bright future ahead.”
