UAVtechnics release FLIR drone with dual thermal/daylight view

UAVtechnics released a combination DJI Inspire drone with dual thermal FLIR and daylight camera.

With this combination it is possible to have thermal imaging as well as regular stills and video without swapping gimbal or camera, both sensors are in the same gimbal housing and can rotate 360° without any obstructions as the FLIR drone has retractable landing gear. Raising and lowering the landing gear can be done automatically or manually. This thermal drone has some nice features like waypoints, follow me and auto return home function. With point of interest the drone can fly a circle around any given object at constant distance and speed whilst the camera will keep focused on the object. It is possible to switch between daylight and thermal videostream within the DJI go app, this High Definition digital videostream is stable up to 3,5 km and is encrypted. Both FLIR and Sony camera are remotely triggered for video or stills and change FLIR color palette. It’s advanced vision positioning system allows people to fly indoor without GPS signal.
