UAVOS Developed New Auto-Tracking Antenna System for Unmanned Aircraft Applications.

UAVOS has announced the introduction of the company’s new Auto-Tracking Antenna System, a new portable ground-to-air antenna that designed to incorporate unmanned aircraft. The tracking antenna enables long-range data transmission and is particularly suitable for unmanned aircraft applications. Combined with UAVOS’s ground control unit Tracking Antenna System it significantly increases the quality and range of stable communication transmission.

New Auto-Tracking Antenna System has 2 communication channels with different types of antennas:

  • 1st antenna - telemetry radio link - works at 900 MHz frequency and has a range of 100km +
  • 2nd antenna - high-speed video communication - data transfer rate up to 25 Mbit/s.

UAVOS’s Auto-Tracking Antenna System offers the possibility to install different modems and different antennas, allowing the turntable system to automatically orient the installed antennas to aircraft.

“Our customers require a system that is simple to put together, turn on, and works,” comments Aliaksei Stratsilatau, UAVOS Chairman of the board and Lead developer. “They want to achieve high data-rates and reliable HD video transmission. New Tracking Antenna System enables video streaming out to distances of up to 100km while maintaining high throughput and strong signal strength. The Auto-Tracking Antenna System delivers versatile solution for a truly networked unmanned aircraft.”

Designed for ease-of-use, quick assembly, and portability, the Auto-Tracking Antenna System can be assembled and deployed in less than 15 minutes. The portable and lightweight design is completely disassemblable, with the main duo-antenna system breaking down into eight individual parts. The entire system fits into most standard-sized SUVs for easy transportation and compact storage.
