Synspective, a provider of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite data and analytics solutions, announced the execution of the service contract and total contract value for the Ministry of Defense’s Satellite Constellation Project.
The Satellite Constellation Project is a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) through which the Ministry of Defense will leverage private-sector expertise to build and operate a satellite constellation capable of delivering persistent imagery intelligence in support of Japan’s defense posture. This announcement follows the December 25, 2025, notice regarding the selection of project operators.
As a partner company to Tri-Sat Constellation Co., Ltd., a Special Purpose Company (SPC) established by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation, and Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Synspective confirms that the service contract for the Satellite Constellation Project has been officially executed with the Ministry of Defense. The total contract value between the Ministry of Defense and TriSat for this project is 283.1 billion yen (Incl. tax).
