Lee Valley Regional Park is a world class visitor destination consisting of 10,000 acres of award winning parklands and outstanding sports venues, including three London 2012 legacy venues.

We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive, well organised and resourceful GIS professional with a good eye for detail to work alongside the Authority’s GIS Manager, with whom you will be responsible for the delivery, development and day to day management of the organisations corporate GIS and associated mapping, spatial analysis and technical support service

Due to the nature of the Authority and its remit, as well as the recent creation of Vibrant Partnerships, the successful candidate will have exposure to a number of GIS technologies, applications, and stakeholder organisations. The successful candidate will also play a significant role in the reshaping and refocussing of the Corporate GIS business function for the Authority and Trust over the coming year.

The successful candidate will have an appropriate degree in GIS or a related field as well as experience of dealing with a variety of GIS, cartographic and first line technical support work, preferably gained within a UK local government or similar public sector organization. A good working knowledge of Cadcorp SIS would be a distinct advantage and if not, experience of another major GIS package would be ideal. A full driver’s license is essential.
