Kinematic Data Acquisition from Different Moving Platforms: Watch the RIEGL VZ-i Series Video

By Eric Van Rees - 8th November 2023 - 08:30

The RIEGL VZ-i Series Terrestrial Laser Scanners offer crossover mode capabilities, going from static to kinematic on a variety of platforms.

This is made possible with the use of a brand new RIEGL Kinematic App.

By using the versatile kinematic function of the RIEGL VZ-i series and the new RIEGL Kinematic App, it is possible to easily acquire kinematic laser scan data without the need of any additional equipment. Data acquisition of large areas thus becomes possible in a relatively short time and with minimal effort. The fully automated post-processing ensures an efficient and user-friendly workflow from data acquisition to the final, precisely aligned point cloud.

Experience in this video how quickly a 3D terrestrial laser scanner of the RIEGL VZ-i series can be switched from static to kinematic use.
