30 January 2019 - Birmingham, U.K. – Today Juniper Systems Limited welcomed its new Business Development Manager for the United Kingdom territory, as Mr Narendra (Nat) Patel of King’s Heath, has joined the team.
‘We’re very excited to welcome Nat to Juniper Systems as we continue to grow throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa’, said Mr Simon Bowe, managing director of Juniper Systems Limited near Birmingham, U.K. ‘Nat’s friendly personality and exceptional customer service philosophy blend well with our Core Values, and we’re confident he will be an excellent representative for us throughout Britain’.
Mr Patel was born in Mombasa, Kenya, and moved to England when he was two years old. He demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age, as he drew, produced, and sold comics in his youth. After completing his A-levels in college, he went into finance and banking with Lehman Brother, Merrill Lynch, and London Mortgage Company. Later he joined Shepherds Friendly Society where he consulted on investments and insurance.
In 2008, Mr Patel joined SRCL, a waste management company, as a highly successful business development manager. He later joined Waste Check in 2012, and built the industry’s first clinical waste elimination program, focusing on the removal of hazardous, clinical, and other complex waste from hospitals, clinics, and other facilities. The program was so successful that Mr Patel was awarded with a shareholder role in the company.
In late autumn last year, Mr Patel joined Juniper Systems Limited after Waste Check was sold. He is excited to continue business development throughout the UK, and is particularly excited about the rugged handheld computers that comprise the Juniper and Cedar product lines.
‘While this product line is completely new for me, I’m excited for this opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally, with Juniper Systems Limited’, said Mr Patel. ‘The company is very customer-focused, and I strongly believe in serving our customers to the best of my ability. I’m excited to meet new people and tell them about our ultra-rugged and fully-rugged handheld computers’.
In his spare time, Mr Patel continues to practice Taekwondo and kick boxing, which he started in his youth. Along with his wife of 19 years and three children, he loves to watch movies, travel around England and abroad, and do the occasional thing that pushes boundaries and ‘gets my heart rate going’, as he described it, like sky diving!
Mr Patel can be reached via email at [email protected] or via phone on his mobile +44 (0) 7493 323454.
