The “International Conference on Cultural Heritage and New Technologies” takes place in Vienna since 1996. This annual event is organized by the Urban Archaeology of Vienna.

The Urban Archaeology of Vienna is a part of the Wien Museum. The task of the Urban Archaeology is to excavate and to safe the history of Vienna.

The mission of CHNT is bringing together colleagues from many disciplines and countries all over the world for the sake of World Cultural Heritage. The aim is discuss how to prospect, to excavate, to analyze, to safe and to present our cultural heritage with new technologies.
