The American Association of Geographers' fully virtual 2021 annual meeting will provide a dynamic forum for leaders in the discipline to showcase the most recent trends in geographic technologies and ideas.

Attendees including GIS specialists, geographers, environmental scientists, and other leaders will share and discuss the latest in research and applications in GIScience, geography, and sustainability. With attendees from academia, government, business, and the nonprofit sector, finding your place at the AAG annual meeting is easy.

The meeting will be held from Wednesday, April 7 - Sunday, April 11, and will feature more than 3,000 presentations, posters, workshops, networking sessions, and virtual field trips by leading scholars, experts, and researchers. In addition, discover the latest in technology and opportunities from companies, publishers and other organizations and institutions at the virtual exhibit hall.

With nearly 5,000 geographers connecting from the U.S., Canada, and nearly 60 other countries and thousands of different papers and presentations scheduled throughout the conference, you’ll find no shortage of activities that reflect your specific interests within the field of geography. And, in this time of health and travel uncertainty, you can experience them in the comfort of your own space.
