EARSC Board of Directors Nomination

By Eric Van Rees - 28th May 2020 - 06:28

With over 15 years’ experience within the Earth Observation sector working for European entities, Pascal Schichor, Sales Director at European Space Imaging, is currently nominated to contribute to EARSC Board activities as an EARSC Director.

EARSC Directors are responsible for overseeing the actions by EARSC and are elected each year by EARSC members. As part of their role, they promote and carry out the activities of EARSC and ensure that the Earth Observation industry has a voice. Furthermore, they work to raise and increase awareness of EO, represent the industry to EU decision makers and act in a mentor capacity to companies within the industry to help foster relationships and information sharing.

"Between EARSC members exists a plethora of products, services and network relationships. Together we present as a strong society to the EU Market. It is my aim that as a Director, I can further contribute to this strong offering by bringing my thought leadership to foster these links across the industries to further increase awareness of the EO industry and highlight its significance to the EU market. I will support the board with my industry expertise to maintain these well-established links between EARSC and industry, in addition to developing opportunities for EARSC members to connect to EU entities." said Pascal in support of his nomination.

Voting opens on Thursday 28 May and will close on Thursday 11 June 2020. EARSC members will shortly receive an email from EARSC with a voting form and information on all candidates. There is a rule of one vote per company - if multiple people from the same company vote, these votes will not be valid.
