Esri Partner DataCapable Adds Customer Engagement Platform ‘UtiliSocial’ to ArcGIS Marketplace

DataCapable has announced at Esri’s Electric, Gas and Telecom conference, GeoConX 2016, the availability of their UtiliSocial platform in the ArcGIS Marketplace. The UtiliSocial platform empowers users with the ability to communicate with customers via their platform of choice (social, text or voice), in real time. The ArcGIS Marketplace is a destination that enables ArcGIS users to search, discover, and get apps and content from qualified providers.

Maps as a Social Canvas
Calling a business for information is frustrating for a customer - it’s also a large cost of time and resources for operations. UtiliSocial empowers brand managers and public relations liaisons to easily interact with digital customers on the platforms they prefer.

By leveraging the power of Esri’s GIS mapping software, UtiliSocial can transform maps into a social experience that allows users of the ArcGIS Marketplace to “geo-listen” for activity about brands and events across a variety of social media channels, turning data into actionable intelligence and two-way communication.

“Maps are a canvas upon which people can now digitally communicate. By embracing two-way messaging and social listening capabilities, ArcGIS users can use the UtiliSocial Marketplace app to transform customer engagement by reducing operational costs while improving satisfaction,” said Adam Narkiewicz, Director of Marketing and Creative at DataCapable. “This announcement is just one of many examples on how powerful Esri’s ArcGIS truly is. Together, Esri and DataCapable are making maps social.”
