Abstract Submissions for 10th National GIS in Transit Conference

Des Plaines, IL (January 18, 2017) – The National Center for Transit Research, Urban and Regional Information Systems Association and the Transportation Research Board are jointly sponsoring the 10th National GIS in Transit Conference, September 6-8, 2017, in Washington, DC.

Martin Catala, Director of the Advanced Geo-Spatial & Informatics Lab at the Center for Urban Transportation Research, encourages transit and GIS professionals to share their research, projects and ideas with this informed audience. "The 10th Transit GIS Conference serves as a vital opportunity for transit agencies of all levels to learn fundamentals of GIS as well as discover cutting edge applications. Do not miss this unique conference that helps improve how transit agencies address challenges and devise solutions."

This conference attracts experts from across North America to discuss how GIS is being used every day to improve transit systems. The conference will provide a breadth of GIS experiences to showcase how agencies of all sizes and budgets are managing GIS data and improving transit service, and ultimately customer service.
