Canada's most famous robotic and technological achievement made its space debut on November 13, 1981.
The Canadarm was used to install the Docking Module on Mir Space Station during Mission STS-74 which took place from (launch) November 12, 1995 to November 20, 1995 (landing).
The design and building of the Shuttle Remote Manipulator System marks the beginning of Canada's close collaboration with NASA in manned space flight.
