emapsite and partners offer smarter solutions at Sustainabilitylive! 2009

emapsite, GroundSure and Subtechnics are joining forces at this week’s giant Sustainabilitylive! to show how new technology can provide access to key location intelligence for environmental professionals, making feasibility studies and site investigations more cost-effective and sustainable.

emapsite’s mapping information portfolio, Subtechnics’s radar processing software and utility data and GroundSure’s environmental reports and historic mapping archive together provide the complete picture of your site and help achieve better resource management by avoiding unnecessary site visits early in a project.

James Cutler, Managing Director of emapsite, said: “De-risking environmental assessments by doing more preparatory work from the desktop is a smart move, especially given the cost pressures at this difficult time in the land and property sector.”

emapsite hosts and supplies a range of structured, multi-format spatial data to planners, engineers and site developers both directly and through the GroundSure reports product range.

The portfolio includes application-ready topographic and historic mapping, aerial and oblique photography, and environmental, geological and utilities data.

emapsite’s web services platform, emapsite Inside, delivers data instantly into the user’s local GIS or CAD system or geo-browser.

It includes flexible licensing options, enabling data to be shared across teams and with contractors.

Subtechnics’ software platform, RDXPro, translates radar data of project sites into AutoCAD drawings that can be inserted digitally into the relevant topographic survey.

This saves further valuable time when pulling together site information and drawing up plans.

emapsite, GroundSure and Subtechnics will demonstrate their location solutions at Stand S110, Sustainabilitylive! 2009, 19-21 May, NEC Birmingham.

Sustainabilitylive! 2009 is the UK’s leading event for excellence and innovation in the environment, water, land, energy and sustainability sectors.

It is the largest gathering of its kind for suppliers and buyers tackling resource and sustainability issues facing UK companies.
