Yotta DCL, the UK’s largest surveying company, today announced it has won a contract with the Welsh Assembly Government, worth approximately £4-5 million over four years.
Yotta will be surveying the country’s road network, which includes 22 local authorities and the trunk roads managed by the Welsh Assembly Government. A comprehensive condition survey of approximately 15000km of road will be carried out by Yotta’s Scanner vehicles each year alone. The contract also includes CVI, DVI, SCRIM and Deflectograph surveys as part of the four year deal.
Simon Philips, operations manager at Yotta DCL said: “Yotta is extremely proud to have won this four year contract with the Welsh Assembly Government. Our commitment to providing customers with high quality data will allow local authorities in Wales to better manage its highways information. We’re looking forward to working with each Local Authority in Wales to build a strong lasting relationship.”
