The International Summer School for Cultural Heritage Documentation will be held on 23-27 September in Merida, Spain. Merida is located south-west of Madrid and is a city with several and beautiful Romans, Visigoth, Arabic and Christian archaeological and architectural heritages.
The event is organized by Gavle (Spain), FBK Trento (Italy), ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). The school consists of lectures and demonstrations of the actual technologies for the digital 3D recording and documentation of our heritages. The event represents an important occasion to establish contacts between experts in archaeology, cultural heritage, art history, architects and experts from remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, spatial information science, computer graphics, virtual reality, etc.
The number of acceptances are limited in order to have more interactions between the lecturers and the audience.
The early registration fee is 275 Eur and includes the material of the school, coffee breaks and all the social events (2 excursions, welcome party, concert and social dinner). The early registration closes on August 25th.
More info are also available in the school website below or you can contact us at the address administracion@gavle.es for any further questions.
