Simon Topp has joined highway surveying specialist Yotta DCL as Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Sales Consultant.
Simon will provide additional consultancy to customers requiring highway surveying solutions available from the wide range of Yotta DCL's services. These include coarse and detailed visual inspections (CVI and DVI), SCANNER and the company's innovative asset inventory collection, which utilises the company's unique integrated photography and Nano software technology.
A Geography graduate with extensive GIS knowledge, Simon's aim is to build relationships with Yotta DCL's Local Authority customers ensuring that they make Yotta DCL the primary resource for highway surveys.
“My job is to ensure that we provide our customers with solutions to their problems. We have an array of innovative services and technologies and we want to ensure that our customers gain maximum value from what we offer,” says Simon.
Simon has extensive data and information solutions experience having worked for the publisher LexisNexis Butterworth. Here he managed clients in the legal industry providing them with critical data and information to help them optimise their own services and service provision.
“Simon has taken up the mantle as Yotta DCL's Nano and geospatial video solutions expert. He has already made dramatic progress with this innovative asset collection solution, successfully trialling the service with several local authorities, including Nottinghamshire, Flintshire, Cardiff and
Middlesborough, as well as with the major managing agent contractor A1+. His focus on
building relationships will enable us to expand our customer base and ensure that
all the Local Authorities within his region are aware of how we can assist them,” says David Lowe, Director, Yotta DCL.
