SeaZone, a world leader marine information and mapping, has significantly expanded its sales team with three new appointments. All successful sales professionals, the new recruits bring extensive experience from Central Government, Local Government and the Private sector; core markets for SeaZone. The three, Zack Abraham, Litan Paul and Robin Coackley, will report to SeaZone’s Marketing and Sales Manager Alison Smith.
“These appointments reflect a significant period of growth for the company,” commented Alison Smith. “We have selected the best candidates for each core market, and working both as individuals and as a team, they will build on our recent successes securing our place as world leader in the provision of Marine Geographic Information Solutions and supporting decision making in the Marine Environment and Coastal Zone.”
Zack Abraham who will takes on the position of Central Government Sales Consultant joins SeaZone from Yotta DCL, a specialist in highway surveying technology and data collection services. Prior to this Abraham held the position of Central Government Business Development Manager at Ordnance Survey where he was responsible for generating significant increases in revenue, securing new contracts and establishing partner relationships.
Litan Paul is an experienced GIS professional having completed a number of consultancy contracts for UK Local Government organisations including Liverpool City Council, Leeds City Council and Reigate and Banstead Council. Paul joins SeaZone as Local Government Sales Consultant from GGP Systems, specialist in GIS and Gazetteer Management software for the UK public sector, where he held the position of GIS Senior Sales and Implementation Consultant.
Robin Coackley joins SeaZone to promote sales into the private sector. Coackley, a recent graduate in Geographical and Environmental Sciences together with Modern Languages from the University of Wales, joins from Data Systems Ltd, an independent supplier of IT solutions, where he held the position of Account Manager. Coackley will work closely with SeaZone’s existing Private Sector Sales Consultant Mike Glassborow who has been with the company for nearly two years.
