SeaZone continues to support the progression....

SeaZone continues to support the progression of renewable energy

SeaZone, the market leader for marine geographic information, software and services, will be presenting their latest developments for the renewable energy sector at All-Energy ’10 - See Editor's Choice below. The event, the UK’s largest devoted to renewable energy, will be held in Aberdeen on 19 and 20 May 2010, attract over 5000 visitors from all aspects of this sector including wind, wave, tidal, hydro, solar and biofuels.

SeaZone already supports many organisations involved in the renewable energy sector through supply of its data products including SeaZone HydroSpatial and Digital Survey Bathymetry. SeaZone clients include, Scottish Power Renewables, Vattenfall, SeaEnergy Renewables, SSE Renewables, Dong Wind (UK), Fluor and E.ON Climate and Renewables, many of which are successful bidders for the Round 3 offshore wind farm developments in the UK. Other clients include; those involved in the wave and tidal energy projects in Scotland, Renewable energy manufacturers, such as Renewable Energy Systems Ltd and Marine Current Turbines. offshore oil and gas companies including Shell, BP and GDF SUEZ EP. In addition with all the above industries, SeaZone supplies to many associated consultants, including Natural Power Consultants, RPS and PMSS.

Easy and efficient access, understanding, use, re-use and dissemination of appropriate data and information are critical to these organisations. Organisations, realising the benefits of adopting more formal approaches to data management are facing fresh challenges.
