Registration Opens For FME User Group Event

Registration Opens For FME User Group Event

Safe Software, and the UK’s only Platinum VAR Partner, Dotted Eyes, will be co-hosting the 2010 UK FME User Group, to be held at Ordnance Survey’s Business Centre in Southampton on 29th April 2010.

The event, 2010: An FME Odyssey, will build on the success of last year’s inaugural FME User Group, where over 100 delegates heard case studies from FME users across the UK.

Don Murray, Co-founder and President of Safe Software, will once again lead the sessions, having received a rapturous welcome in 2009.

Don comments, “With the great success of last year’s UK FME User Group, I’m excited to participate in this year’s expanded event. I look forward to hearing about the latest challenges our users are solving with FME and receiving feedback on the ways we can make our product even better. “

The agenda will be packed with both informative and interactive sessions, including an under the bonnet look at the new FME 2010, FME best practices, tips and tricks, user case studies and an opportunity to network with other FME users.

Both existing FME users and those interested in using FME’s market leading spatial data translation, transformation, integration and distribution capabilities, will be made most welcome by Safe Software, Dotted Eyes and three other participating FME partners.

This year’s UK FME User Group will be preceded by two days of optional training on FME DESKTOP 2010 (27th – 28th April), offered by Certified FME Trainers from Dotted Eyes. Following the event, Safe Software and Dotted Eyes will be delivering introductory training on FME SERVER 2010 on April 30th.

Places are limited, and delegates should register their details to reserve a place.

For more information, or to register for this free event, visit www.dottedeyes.com/fmeusergroup by the 12th April 2009, or call Dotted Eyes’ Commercial Team on 01527 556 920.
