Following the acquisition by Pitney Bowes MapInfo of GDC Ltd, a number of products have now become available to CDR to sell. Amongst these are the PlanWeb and PlanAccess web mapping applications built upon the MapInfo MapXtreme engine. Keen to get on board with these products, CDR staff have now received the training and backing of the MapInfo technical teams to be able to sell, install and support them.
In the last year, both PlanWeb and PlanAccess have received some additional development and the re-branding into the MapInfo suite of products. More importantly, from CDR’s perspective, was that these products are now positioned as “out-of-the-box” applications whilst retaining the configuration options presented by the Administration modules.
Both PlanWeb and PlanAccess have a large user base amongst the Local Government sector and CDR is aiming to increase that presence.
Indeed, our first installation is already underway so look out for further news on that.
