Open Source Road Show Comes to Warrington

Liberate your budget, mitigate your risk and maximise your potential with Open Source solutions...

Dotted Eyes, the digital mapping solution provider, have kicked off their Open Source road show with previous events in Birmingham, London, Swansea and Stirling already this year and plan to continue their journey through out the year.

Due to massive demand, The Dotted Eyes commercial and development team now travel back to Warrington on the 6th July 2010, to present their authoritative and informative guide to publishing spatial data using Open Source technologies which has already been met with great success across the country.

This educational presentation will see the latest member to the Dotted Eyes team, Enterprise Account Director, Louise Watts who will be accompanied by long standing Technical Director and Open Source guru, Matt Walker, outlining their thoughts and suggestions on adopting and embracing Open Source technologies, drawn from their vast experience in IT and GIS.

This informal presentation will allow you to:

•Discover how Open Source supports sharing spatial
data with customers, staff and partners.

•Explore the advantages of Open Source.

•Dispel the myths around Open Source's credibility and how to mitigate your risk.

•Hear first hand about our customers' Open Source projects.

•Find out about Open Source standards.

•Understand how to use internal and third party data to avoid licensing and compliance issues.
