Mouchel, the consulting and business services group, has been awarded Partner status by the Ordnance Survey.
A licence agreement was signed at the Ordnance Survey Partner Conference on Thursday 22 May, allowing Mouchel to re-sell OS data to third parties. Mouchel will use a new application called Maps@ to load and store the data.
Mike Zammit, Divisional Manager of LandAspects at Mouchel, said: “In becoming an Ordnance Survey Partner, Mouchel will have direct access to the OS data that we need to be able to deliver the business and support services that we provide for our clients. The Maps@ product that we are using gives us a great opportunity to take full advantage of the range of data that the OS has to offer, license that data and, additionally, allows us to bring added value by being able to re-sell it to other parties.”
Mark Salter, Head of the Partner Alliance Programme at Ordnance Survey, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Mouchel as a member of our ever- increasing Partner community. I believe that this marks the beginning of a close and mutually beneficial relationship and I look forward to seeing Mouchel make full use of the opportunities afforded by our partner programme over the coming months and years.”
