1Spatial is delighted to announce that Monty Halls, one of the country’s leading explorers, will be the guest of honour and after dinner speaker at their 2008 Conference: ‘1 Source of Truth’, being held from 29th April to 1st May at the Radisson SAS Hotel, Stansted Airport, UK.
Monty Halls was catapulted into the pubic eye in 2002 when he led a multi-national team of adventurers and scientists on an expedition to discover the ruins of a lost civilisation beneath the sea off the Southeast coast of India. As a result, Monty has quickly become one of the rising stars in British exploration. Drawing on his experience as a Royal Marines Officer, Monty will take the Conference audience on a fantastic journey through his adventures.
Graham Stickler, Product & Marketing Director at 1Spatial commented:
“Obviously we are delighted and proud that Monty has agreed to attend our conference. We really appreciate him taking the time out to support us in what is a very busy period for him. Information of both a spatial and a non-spatial nature is crucial to expeditions like Monty’s so a ‘single source of truth’ is a valuable asset. We look forward to hearing first hand about his past and present challenges as he embarks on new voyages of discovery.”
Monty Halls commented:
“I’m pleased to support 1Spatial’s 2008 conference and I look forward to meeting the attendees at what will be an enjoyable dinner. As a user of spatial data in a field where we rely on accuracy, I’m interested to learn about the advances and improvements in technology to assist with this.”
Sponsors for the 1Spatial Conference 2008 include Autodesk, Blue Marble Geographics, eSpatial, HP, Informatica, Infotech, Intergraph, Oracle, Safe Software, Salford GIS and Tele Atlas. The event is set to deliver a comprehensive learning package for everyone working with spatial data, from expert Practitioners, through to Programmers and Chief Executive Officers. Focused discussions, presentations and workshops will help delegates to use their spatial data more effectively and efficiently; our comprehensive agenda will also include topics around integrating spatial data and building Spatial Date Infrastructures (SDIs).
Registration for the 1Spatial Conference 2008 is NOW OPEN. To find out more and register, please visit www.1spatial.com/conference or contact the conference team on conference@1spatial.com
