Peter Larkin has joined Metoc as an Associate Director to head up the work carried out by the company's Characterisation Team, which provides site and route characterisation services. He is a chartered Engineering Geologist with almost 25 years experience in the coastal and offshore Geotechnical Civil Engineering Industry, the last 15 of which has been on the Oil & Gas and subsea telecoms sectors.
Peter Larkin's expertise in geotechnics complements the team's existing strengths in geoscience, metocean, hydrodynamics, water quality and ecology.
These skills are applied to marine site characterisation across the life cycle of developments from site selection to operations planning. The team is increasingly involved in a wide range of offshore wind, marine cables, marine renewables, oil & gas and water projects.
