The University of Surrey recently played host to the first of Mass' ARCHIBUS User Group Meetings in 2009. With attendees coming from far and wide to enjoy a day filled with presentations, updates, networking
opportunities and of course, a fine buffet lunch.
Mass' clients benefited from an excellent ARCHIBUS Roadmap presentation which identified areas of development and improvements that Version 17.3 is presently supporting clients with. This, alongside the DSG (Defence
Support Group) presentation, which focused on how the UK's Armed Forces are supported with the assistance of ARCHIBUS in order to improve the visibility of their assets, evaluate true costs associated with space usage, manage monthly reporting against KPI's and their future objectives towards using PDA's and live dashboards for reporting.
The benefit of these events, of which Mass are holding another in conjunction with the University of Edinburgh on the 20th of May, provide clients with a fantastic opportunity to network and learn from each others activities. With the ARCHIBUS solution offering such a diverse range of benefits and areas for development within FM business areas, it is crucial to enable users at every level to benefit from other's experiences.
ARCHIBUS is seen as the world's number one solution for Total Infrastructure and Facilities Management, as well as reported by
Garter as a 'leader' in their recent Magic Quadrant analysis of the CAFM environment. Ailsa Lawson of the University of Surrey further validates the value of ARCHIBUS at an operational and reporting level, "due to the
advantages the system has brought to us through the functionality, reliability and shared use of core data."
Mass plan to host further events this year to provide their valued clients with additional opportunities to learn more about others experiences and meet new users. Such events are invaluable in developing the relationship with clients, working towards a partnership approach, something that Mass prides itself on.
Anita Hirani-Smith of the University of the Arts stated that Mass are both "professional and purposeful; Mass identify what the client wants then try and achieve these rather than selling products regardless of suitability."
Mass also updated the delegates on their 30% growth in 2008, new clients and recent expansion and relocation to new Wokingham offices. In order to celebrate this move, Mass are also hosting an Open Event on Tuesday
2nd June at their new offices, offering a Champagne lunch and networking opportunities for their new business community.
For those that are interested in either the following ARCHIBUS User Group Meetings or the Open Event in June, please contact Richard.milner@mass-plc.com directly to help plan the number of Champagne bottles to order in!
