LizardTech’s “Show Us” Promotion Moves to Phase 2

Winner announced at 2009 ESRI International User Conference

SEATTLE, Wash. — July 1, 2009 — LizardTech, a division of Celartem Inc. and a leading provider of software solutions for managing and distributing digital content, announced today new details about the “Show Us and We’ll Show You” promotion the company is conducting in conjunction with the 2009 ESRI International User Conference in San Diego July 13-16.

For weeks, fans of the popular LizardTech Lizard have been submitting images they took of the famous critter, and the company has been posting them to its Flickr page. Now it’s time to vote for a favorite lizard image. Beginning today through July 14 everyone is encouraged to visit the voting page and place their vote for their favorite shot. Voting will also be available during the first day of the ESRI conference in LizardTech’s booth (#511). The person whose lizard photo receives the most votes will win a brand new handheld GPS system. The winner will be announced in LizardTech’s booth number 511 at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15.

LizardTech is also promoting the launch of its latest product through a “We’ll Show You” promotion. The first 25 conference attendees to bring one DVD of LiDAR data (LAS or ASCII format) to the LizardTech booth (#511) by 6pm on Tuesday, July 14 will receive something in return the following day and experience what it feels like to be completely blown away.

More details about the “Show Us and We’ll Show You” promotions can be obtained here: http://www.lizardtech.com/esri2009/

This Month's Burning Issue...
Each month we select a hot topic and a leading figure in the industry to write about it.

Within this data lies a vast pool of intelligence that largely remains untapped for organisations. This rich data source is particularly important for UK Public Sector organisations in enabling a single view of the citizen, delivering citizen self-services, improving compliance, and optimising cost efficiencies.

Location is ubiquitous and influences most, if not all, business behaviour and outcomes – yet a lack of location awareness remains an analytical blind spot for a large number of organisations who have not considered how the geographic and location aspects of the data they hold affects their business processes… More…
