Milton Keynes, UK, 9 April 2009 - Leica Geosystems today announces the launch of a new Leica SmartNet website for UK and Ireland. The dedicated website marks a new chapter for SmartNet GNSS, which coincides with the completion of Ordnance Survey's OS Net upgrade to Leica GRX1200+ GNSS reference station receivers and Leica AR25 GNSS choke ring antennas, earlier this week.
Subscriber Web Tools:
For users with a subscription to SmartNet, access to subscriber web tools is available for post processing RINEX data and a unique computation service, for users who do not have any post processing software, but wish to upload and compute single points via the web.
SmartRINEX data is also available to users who wish to compute simulated base station set-ups, using simple Google Earth tools. This feature is based on Leica Spider GNSS Network RTK processing solutions to create simulated base station set-ups, for advanced post processing techniques.
This is particularly useful for RTK subscribers who may suffer from mobile communication problems in the field and require to post process their data.
Value Added Services:
The features rich website includes an indepth introduction to RTK Networks, methods, standards and the economic and technical advantages of using SmartNet, together with network updates, real-time status information and user tools, including:
- SMS text service links directly to your mobile
- NTRIP Connection details and products
- Guides to different Network RTK methods (MAX, i-MAX, VirtualRS for Trimble users)
- Regional GNSS network coverage maps
- Real-Time live status maps
