Infoterra Ltd:distribution agreement with Leica PS

Infoterra Ltd signs agreement to distribute ERDAS IMAGINE and Leica Photogrammetry Suite across the UK and Ireland

24th October 2007 - Infoterra Ltd has extended its portfolio of end-to-end geospatial products and services through an exclusive agreement with Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging. From 1st November, 2007 Infoterra will be the sole distributor for ERDAS IMAGINE® and Leica Photogrammetry Suite (LPS) solutions across the UK and Ireland. Infoterra, as well as driving and expanding the sales capability, will support these products with dedicated technical assistance and specialist training.

Were delighted that Infoterra will be distributing ERDAS IMAGINE and LPS solutions across the UK and Ireland. Infoterra is acknowledged across the industry as one of the few organisations that can address all aspects of the geospatial solutions lifecycle, and were confident that their combination of local market expertise and solutions capability will prove a key factor in developing business, commented Thomas Bayer, Sales Director for Europe and CIS, Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging.

At Infoterra were committed to providing our customers with solutions based on the best available geospatial products and services, so were delighted to add Leica Geosystems ERDAS IMAGINE and LPS offerings to our portfolio, added Dr Andy Wells, Director of Sales for Infoterra Ltd. We expect these products to prove particularly valuable for key sectors such as defence where there is a requirement for GIS teams to be able to process and analyse their own imagery data in-house.
