Envitia appoint new Government & Utilities Business Unit Manager
Envitia is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Perrin as Government & Utilities Business Unit Manager. Matt’s appointment will further strengthen the company’s position as leading provider of geospatial technologies and solutions for customers in a range of Government and commercial markets across the world.
Matt has been involved in the world of GIS for 20 years and has worked in a range of technical, business development & managerial roles, including four months in Ghana with the British Executive Service Overseas, and working as an analyst on the EU Agricultural Monitoring Project with the National Remote Sensing Centre, before going on to take a doctorate in GIS & Remote Sensing at Leicester University. Subsequent to completing his PhD, Matt joined Willis Re as a senior GIS Consultant, before moving into a management role in 1998 with Black & Veatch. More recently, Matt has worked for ESRI (UK) as a Strategic Account Manager.
