ESRI UK further strengthens partner focus

Dr Mike Clark takes up Head of Partners and Alliances post

ESRI UK, the market leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has further strengthened its partner focus with the appointment of Head of Partners and Alliances, Dr Mike Clark.

Following the launch of the ESRI Partner Network (EPN) earlier this year, which will serve the needs of ESRI's global partner community of more than 2,000 companies in 46 countries, Mike will focus on supporting ESRI UK’s Partners and Alliances team in developing business with existing partners and establishing new alliances and partner channels.

The ESRI Partner Network provides partners with greater access to detailed product information, development and deployment best practices, and marketing and sales resources. EPN is available to all ESRI UK’s partners who are registered with their Partners & Alliances Programme, and helps UK partners to facilitate business around the world.

Richard Waite, Managing Director, ESRI UK, commented:

“ESRI UK’s commitment to our partners is strengthened by the introduction of Mike Clark to drive our Partner Network. In our quest to make GIS an indispensible part of everyday life the innovation of all our partners is essential. Mike will work alongside our sales team to attract new partnerships while strengthening relationships and creating new opportunities with existing partners.”

Mike joins ESRI UK from Micro Focus where he was responsible for managing the partner programme.

He has 17 years partner management experience; prior to Micro Focus he held roles at Web Methods, Business Objects, GE and Sun MicroSystems.
